TEACHINGS
Over 80 hours of both live and recorded video teachings.
INDIVIDUAL CARE
Participants will receive individual sessions with a Caregiver from The Healing Care Center.
SUPERVISION/PRACTICUM
Real-world experience providing Care with supervision and feedback to help you grow.
SPIRITUAL FORMATION
Spiritual components and experientials weaved into your weekly assignments.
PERSONAL NARRATIVE
Developing a personal narrative as you grow in awareness of your own story.
COMMUNITY
Weekly zoom small group meetings and/or dyads
ADVANCED PROGRAM
The Advanced Certificate in Formational Care is an opportunity for wounded healers to continue to develop their skills for journeying with others.
Teachings will include discussions around developmental trauma and its impact on adult relationships and Spirituality, the neurobiological effects of trauma, building and teaching healthy boundaries, creating a Formational Care ministry in your own church or vocation, and more -- all in the context of the Holy Spirit and positioning others for transformation through healing encounters with Jesus Christ.
The opportunities provided through practicum are not just practicing with a peer, but involve using the Healing Care model in real-world settings under supervision from seasoned caregivers.
Being on your own journey is a constant theme in Healing Care Ministries, and this program continues to encourage its participants to do the same. The Advanced Certificate in Formational Care is an invitation to step more fully into our own story in light of God's story.

PREREQUISITES
Certificate in Foundations of Formational Care (or its equivalent).
Due to the material and requirements to complete the Advanced Certificate Program, acceptance to the program will be determined by a five-step process that includes a personal assessment interview.
